Vislanda is conveniently located near larger towns such as Växjö, Alvesta, and Ljungby, and you can easily reach it by train or bus via public transport. Centrally located in the area, you will find Vislandaskolan, a K-9 school with about 390 students.

Our after-school program will be organized into two departments, K-1 and 2-6, starting from the 25/26 school year.

At Vislandaskolan, we have a large and varied outdoor environment with a multi-arena, artificial turf field, proximity to a sledding hill, and a school forest. Our indoor activities are conducted both in shared facilities and in designated areas for the after-school program.

We have an active school sports association that organizes activities for students in the after-school program, and we have a longer outdoor activity once a week in each department. We work together to provide students with a meaningful leisure time, a cohesive school day, and the opportunity to influence the program.

At Vislandaskolan, you will meet a positive and engaged staff dedicated to our students' success in school. We have a large, combined student health team, and together with them and the teaching staff, you will have the opportunity to support students with special needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating the after-school program. In the after-school program, you provide students the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained during the school day in practice and create conditions for both teacher-led activities, free play, and recovery. At Vislanda after-school program, there are learning environments that create opportunities for all. Your work in the after-school program will be combined with student support work during school hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working with children and youth is required. We prefer that you have a teaching license with qualifications for teaching in after-school programs. We also place great importance on personal suitability.

OTHER

Employment type: Permanent, provided that you have a teaching license for teaching in after-school programs; otherwise, the position will be temporary. Vacation position.
