About the role of Support Educator

In the role of support educator, you will provide support and services based on the residents' wishes, both at home and in leisure activities. You will contribute to ensuring that residents have the opportunity for an active and meaningful life. Furthermore, you should be able to address each person's individual needs and conduct educational work based on this. As the needs vary among users, no day is the same, which contributes to a challenging and exciting job.

You will work closely with your colleagues and have a significant responsibility to, in consultation with the operations manager, drive and develop the educational work within the organization. Some delegated health and medical care tasks are included in the work.

About the role of Support Assistant

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point. As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in users' everyday lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.

Qualifications

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner and enjoy collaborating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

Requirements for Support Educator:

  • Degree from the support educator program, 200 YH points or 60 HP in pedagogy.

  • Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS adults target group 1.

  • Basic knowledge of household work such as nutrition and hygiene.

  • Computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Requirements for Support Assistant:

  • Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

  • Good computer skills, experience in documentation.

  • Experience in care and support work.

  • High school education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support educator, social educator, or university education in a relevant field.

Meritorious if you also have:
  • Experience in leadership.

  • Experience working with individuals with autism and challenging behavior.

  • Experience working with individuals with complex psychosocial behavioral issues.

  • Experience in clarifying communication and low-arousal responses.

Employment Conditions

Employment type: Working hours: 98% Working time: Day, evening, and weekend Start date: By agreement, we look positively on if you can start soon. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
