The Operations

Working within the LSS operations means ensuring that the user receives the support and assistance they are entitled to. The work takes place in the user's home, the group home Domherren, and may include personal care, meal support, and various health and medical tasks. You also assist with daily activities that contribute to creating an active and meaningful existence for the user. Many tasks can be practical and physical, and may involve heavy lifting and other tasks that require strength and agility.

Working in a group home means that you should help users feel as independent as possible. The users have their own apartments that are gathered around a common space. The work involves supervision around the clock. We carry out many activities together with the users, so it is important that you are flexible.

Working in daily activities means that you will work to support and help participants in their daily activities, which can include everything from practical tasks to social and creative activities. You will contribute to creating a safe and positive environment where everyone feels seen and heard.

Qualifications

Who are you? We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in working within LSS and wants to make a difference.
• Has knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF) and is familiar with low-arousal approaches and clear pedagogical methods.
• Is flexible, engaged, and has a warm demeanor.
• Values collaboration and has a positive attitude.
• Has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• The position requires proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is strongly meritorious if you are a nursing assistant or have experience working with LSS and hold a B driver's license.

Working Hours/Duration

Scheduled working hours during the day, evening, night, and weekends. A background check may be requested, as well as certification.
