Upplands-Bro municipality is now looking for an engaged and secure HR professional who wants to contribute to a sustainable and professional employer policy – where a holistic view, commitment, and professionalism characterize our daily work.
There are seventeen employees in the HR and payroll department. There is a broad competence and a lot of joy in the workplace.
The department's task is to facilitate for managers and leaders to develop their operations, fulfill their missions, and create attractive workplaces where employees thrive and develop.
About the role
With us, you provide qualified support to managers throughout the municipality. The role includes particular responsibility for labor law issues, where you become a key person in:
- Providing advice on matters related to labor law, rehabilitation, misconduct, relocations, and interpretation of collective agreements.
- Supporting managers in labor law processes.
- Ensuring correct documentation and following applicable laws, local agreements, and the municipality's governing documents.
- Being a support in negotiations and collaboration with trade unions.
- Contributing to the development of HR processes and governing documents.
You will be part of a knowledgeable HR team with a strong culture of collaboration and close cooperation with managers, union representatives, and operations.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant academic degree in HR, labor law, or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of Swedish labor law, collective agreements, and occupational health and safety legislation.
- Experience in qualified HR work, preferably in the public sector.
- The ability to independently drive cases and provide secure and factual support in complex situations.
- Good pedagogical and communicative skills.

- A person who builds trust in dialogue with managers and employees.
- You work in a structured manner, are used to handling the details of labor law, and see the whole picture of the organization's needs.

About the position
This is a full-time parental leave position for eleven months. Start date by agreement, and salary is set individually.
