A Job Close to Life and Death

As a customer advisor, you build trust and confidence with our clients and are the guide in a time that for many is filled with sorrow and uncertainty. Working with funerals is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's different needs. You take overall responsibility for planning and adapting the ceremony according to the client's needs and wishes, while always having the support of colleagues who are close at hand. Some of the tasks include:

• Meeting relatives and providing advice on planning and conducting the funeral ceremony, including choices of ceremony type, coffins, urns, and other details
• Preparing cost estimates, handling invoicing and payments
• Coordinating and maintaining contact with external suppliers such as florists, churches, and authorities
• Acting as a representative in churches and chapels during ceremonies
• Handling the deceased during pickups, wrapping, and personal farewells
• Transporting the deceased, urns, and coffins
• Providing support and practical guidance to relatives throughout the funeral process, from the first meeting to subsequent follow-up.

For our customer area in Northern Värmland with offices in Hagfors and Ekshärad, we are looking for a new colleague, who will be based at Erikssons Funeral Home in Hagfors. Within the customer area, we work as a team and help each other, which means you will have the opportunity to work throughout the customer area.

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Fonus applies a 6-month probationary period.

What You Bring

• Experience in service and/or sales
• Experience working with a customer focus
• Good computer skills, administrative ability, and familiarity with various business systems as well as the Office suite
• Driver's license and access to your own car
• On-call duty is included in the position, and we expect you to be prepared to work outside of office hours approximately every 5th week
• It is an advantage if you speak multiple languages or have experience in our or related fields
