At Humana Maskrosens Family Home Care, we offer consultant-supported emergency homes and family homes. We train and guide our emergency and family homes in the Connect method.

We are now looking for a family home consultant who is a trained social worker to join our team Maskrosen in Karlstad. The team currently consists of two consultants and a unit manager. Our office is located at Kasernhöjden in Karlstad, and part of the work is based there. Our emergency and family homes are primarily located in Värmland, Närke, Dalsland, and Västmanland, and it is at the families' homes that you, as a family home consultant, will mainly be to guide them in their assignments.

About the position

You will be involved in recruiting and assessing new families. You will also help train them in groups and primarily guide them in their roles as family homes. The consultant position also includes documenting and writing reports about the care for clients.

At Humana, we collaborate with many other units, both locally and nationally. For example, we have a close collaboration with some of the residential care homes that have younger children with them. Our experience is that when we have time to get to know those children and receive a lot of information, we have a great chance of finding a matching family home that the child can move to at a calm pace, and we also know that it matters for achieving a long-term and stable placement.

We are now looking for a family home consultant who can:

- Support and guide emergency and family homes

- Recruit, assess, and train family homes

- Receive inquiries and establish and maintain contact with clients

- Continuously report care in writing to clients

- Participate in the development work around consultant-supported family home care

- Work both in a team and independently

- Be involved in developing and advocating for higher standards in social work.

Employment conditions

Employment type: Permanent position 100%, 6 months probationary period applies

Working hours: Daytime. Regular on-call duty is included, and work may also occur in the evenings and weekends.

Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement

Who are you?

As a person, you are positive, flexible, brave, proactive, and have a good ability to create and maintain relationships both in the work you perform and in the workplace and with clients. You are used to and enjoy independent work, but you must also like and find it easy to work in a team. You must have the ability and experience to handle stressful situations and communicate via phone, email, and in the hallways. You are pleasant, supportive, and spread joy. Since the job involves a lot of travel, we want you to be an experienced driver. A background check is required for employment with us.

For this position, it is required that you:

- are a trained social worker

- have a B driver's license

It is also an advantage if you:

- have experience in family home care

- are trained in assessing, training, and guiding family homes

- have good knowledge of BBIC

- have a burning interest in working in a creative environment
