Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you will provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the customer's needs. You will prioritize the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to ensuring smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires the ability to build good relationships. We are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. We believe that you are creative and enjoy coming up with activities.

We are looking for someone who:

  • wants to work with a lively 13-year-old girl in Säffle
  • has good knowledge of Swedish
  • is comfortable with pets
  • is a non-smoker

It is also advantageous if you:

  • have experience in similar work

Personal suitability will be highly valued.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:

The current form of employment is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts," and the position is approximately 25%, with the possibility of working more as needed. The position involves work in the afternoons on weekdays.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other benefits are provided according to the collective agreement.

Start date

Immediate or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents that prove the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
