ABOUT THE POSITION

You are offered a fun and varied job in terms of tasks and pace, no day is like the other!

The work involves working as a personal assistant to a 45-year-old man with a spinal cord injury.

The work may include everything from care, intimate hygiene, transfers, cooking, household chores, assistance with leisure activities, etc. You help with everyday chores together with the individual, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, walking, crafting, etc. You must also be able to adapt to the individual's own pace, which varies from day to day. He enjoys sports, music, literature, board games, etc. There is also a lot of time spent on the computer.

Your workplace is in the user's home or wherever the user is at each occasion.

The working hours are scheduled both during the day and in the evening, Monday-Sunday on a rolling schedule. We also prefer that you can work on short notice if needed, due to illness, etc.

Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your user, it is important to have good work ethics where everyone supports each other and can work on short notice if needed, due to illness, etc.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We prefer that you, who apply for the position, have a flexible and independent way of working and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good skills in documentation and have a professional approach. Other qualities that are good for the job are a good mood, calmness, patience, and being responsible. You should be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important.

It is a great advantage if you have experience in working within personal assistance.
