Therapist for MBE (Substance Abuse and Dependency Unit)

We are now looking for a therapist for MBE (Substance Abuse and Dependency Unit)! The position is temporary for 12 months from the start of employment, with the possibility of extension.

Your role will be part of the process of 'a safe and healthy life,' which is organizationally under the administration for work, competence, and welfare. Our core business is to provide support and assistance for people to become self-sufficient and live independently, to support children, young people, and adults through investigation and interventions, and to work for adult learning.

Responsibilities

Guiding and motivating conversations
Preventive work and some investigative work.
Working with and following up on LVM cases
Supporting the drug therapist in the 12-step treatment
Conducting tests.
Documentation in our Lifecare system
Collaboration both internally and externally.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a degree in social work, behavioral science, treatment pedagogy, treatment assistance, or equivalent academic education as assessed by the employer. You should have previous experience in working with preventive and motivational treatment of addiction issues, individually and in groups.

Since social documentation is part of the job, you need to have knowledge and experience in this area as well as a good ability to learn different IT systems.

We prefer candidates with knowledge of ASI, Previct, IDS-100, MI, Audit, and Dudit, as well as HAP. Experience in relapse prevention, working with relatives, and gambling addiction is a plus.

Previous work experience in treatment facilities with treatment and discharge is highly desirable.
