Min Assistans is now looking for a personal assistant with supervisory responsibility for one of our clients in Sölvesborg. The client is preparing to move to their own home and needs several assistants. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants to combine the work of a personal assistant with an overall responsibility for the assistance group.

About the position

The position is a combined and important role where you work closely with the client in daily assistance tasks and have a coordinating responsibility for the assistance group.

Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you will work to:

• Support the client in their daily life, such as daily routines at home
• Be a support in all everyday situations and assist with ADL
• Participate in activities in various environments

As a supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Scheduling and staffing the assistance group
• Introducing and training new assistants
• Ongoing contact and coordination with the client and relatives
• Providing support to assistants in their daily work
• Monitoring the work environment and quality of assistance

About the client

The client primarily wishes for male assistants who can assist with their activities, where motorsport is a major interest. They also enjoy bowling, swimming, and visiting Sweden Rock. The client is 44 years old, uses a wheelchair, has cerebral palsy, and an intellectual disability. The work also includes assisting with physiotherapy at home. Experience working with people with disabilities is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working as a personal assistant
• Is responsible, structured, and confident in themselves
• Has good collaboration skills and is attentive and calm
• Has personal maturity and a genuine commitment to other people
• It is an advantage if you have experience in leadership, coordination, or scheduling

Working hours and conditions

Work shifts are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Night shifts may occur. Initially, assistance will be provided in the parental home and will be adjusted when the client moves to their own home.

A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the start date will be agreed upon.

We are members of Vårdföretagarna and follow the collective agreement with the Swedish Municipal Workers' Union.
