As a sous-chef at Livet, you will be the kitchen master's closest partner and a key person in the daily production. You will lead the team closely, ensure flavor and structure, and develop modern, sustainable dishes that energize many – every day. Livet is part of Coor's restaurant and bistro operations at Karolinska University Hospital in Solna, where we serve food that makes a real difference for healthcare staff and visitors every day.

At Livet, we operate two units:
- Restaurant – buffet lunch for about 800 guests per day
- Bistro – about 150 guests per day

About the role
In the role of sous-chef, you will create safety, structure, and joy in the kitchen. You will work closely with both the kitchen master and the team, becoming a natural leader in daily operations, especially when things get busy. With us, you will have the opportunity to shape a modern and sustainable food production on a large scale.
Your responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations
- Support the kitchen master in leading, coaching, and developing the kitchen and dishwashing team (about 12 people).
- Be a present supervisor in daily work.
- Ensure that routines, policies, and self-control are followed.
- Contribute to a good working environment and team spirit.
Cooking & Quality
- Work operationally with cooking and production in both the restaurant and bistro.
- Ensure high quality, flavor, and presentation.
- Contribute to menu development focusing on sustainable and modern dishes.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety (HACCP).
- Work waste-smart and climate-smart with reduced CO₂ footprint and decreased use of beef.
Planning & Administration
- Participate in orders, delivery checks, inventory, and flow of goods.
- Follow up on food waste and contribute to the business achieving its goals.
- Work in our systems (meritorious: Rillion, Quinyx, Klimato, Martin & Servera's inventory system).
- Contribute to efficient routines and structure in the kitchen.

We are looking for someone who has
- Relevant education and several years of experience as a sous-chef or in a similar role
- Experience from larger lunch operations, preferably combined with à la carte or catering
- Very good knowledge of food hygiene, allergens, and sustainable food production
- Ability to work early mornings – shifts start at 06:00

About the position
- Employment type: Permanent position
- Employment rate: Full-time 100%
- Working hours: Monday-Friday 06:00-15:00
- Start date: Feb/March 2026
- Probationary period: 6 months
