We are currently looking for cheerful and service-oriented individuals who want to work at the Experience Museum and the Future Museum at Globen in Stockholm. Both museums focus on allowing visitors to test, feel, smell, and taste rather than just look at things.

You do not need any prior knowledge, as we will train you on-site. The important thing is that you are service-minded and able to handle stress. Previous jobs in service roles are advantageous, especially as a waiter or similar. Technical knowledge is also a plus for work at the Future Museum. You need to be fluent in Swedish and speak at least decent English.

Note: The job has very little to do with being a restaurant assistant. The categories on the employment agency's website are limited.

Job Description:

In addition to introducing visitors to the museum, you are expected to carry out certain activities with them. One of the activities is to pick up and let visitors hold a live giant snail. This is a necessary part of the job that you need to be able to handle (it's not as scary as it sounds; the snails are very gentle, and you get used to it quickly).

Working Hours:

We currently have a staffing shortage for the sports break from February 23rd to March 1st. However, there is an opportunity for continued employment thereafter.

During the breaks, shifts can range from 10 AM to 7 PM at the latest.

When it's not a break, working hours on weekdays are from 3:40 PM to 7:10 PM. On Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM and 11 AM to 5 PM on Sundays.

Salary:

The salary is 132 SEK per hour on weekdays and 147 SEK per hour on weekends. In addition, you receive vacation pay of 12% that can be paid out directly with your salary if desired.
