Senior SEM Specialist
– Google Ads, strategy and business focus
At Mild, we are currently looking for a senior SEM specialist with at least 5 years of experience working with Google Ads. This is a role for someone who is confident in their craft, enjoys taking responsibility, and wants to work closely with clients, teams, and business.
You have been around for a while. You know how good structure, the right strategy, and ongoing optimization make a difference, and you thrive in a role where you can combine operational work with strategic thinking.
The role in brief
With us, you will play a central role in several of our client assignments. You will be responsible for the entire SEM work - from analysis and strategy to implementation, follow-up, and recommendations moving forward.
In many assignments, SEM works closely with SEO. Therefore, we see it as a significant advantage if you also have experience with SEO and can contribute operationally there when it creates the most value for the client.
You work both independently and together with other specialists. In most projects, you will have the support of project managers, allowing you to focus where you provide the most value: on quality, results, and development.
This is what you will do
- Develop SEM strategies and implementation plans
- Work hands-on in Google Ads, including: Search ads, shopping ads
- YouTube ads, display, and remarketing
- Continuously optimize accounts with a clear business focus
- Be responsible for reporting, analysis, and recommendations to clients
- Be a reliable advisor in dialogues and follow-ups
- Work closely with SEO specialists – and also contribute operationally within SEO when relevant
- Help develop our SEM service and our working methods
- Share your knowledge and support colleagues in the team
This is what we believe you bring
- At least 5 years of experience as an SEM specialist, preferably from an agency
- Very good knowledge of Google Ads and its ecosystem
- Experience working strategically, not just operationally
- Strong analytical skills and experience working data-driven
- Good understanding of how SEM and SEO interact in the organic and paid search journey
- Experience with SEO and programmatic is a clear plus – especially if you have also worked operationally
- Active Google Ads certifications
- A structured approach and a clear sense of responsibility
