The preschools in our area are located in both Lindängen and Oxie. They are close to rich green areas, Almviksgården, parks, playgrounds, libraries, and bus connections. With us, joy and the desire to learn are at the center of children's education.

Our goal is for every child to succeed in every situation throughout the day and to feel like an asset to the group. Changing learning environments that purposefully enable children's influence are a given for us. We have a strong focus on children's communication and language development through children's 100 languages.

Svängedammens preschool has four departments; Yellow and Green for younger children, Blue and Red for older children, and here we work based on a clearer health-promoting profile. At Gånglåtens preschool, the departments Diamond and Coral have children aged 1-3 years, while Turquoise and Ruby have children aged 3-5 years. In the Emerald department, there are children who are 5 years old and will start school in the fall. At Gånglåtens preschool, we work based on a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach.

Both preschools' facilities are fresh and purpose-built, with shared meeting places such as an atelier and the preschool's library.

The management at the preschool works health-promoting so that children, guardians, and educators feel meaningfulness, manageability, and comprehensibility, i.e., a KASAM in everyday life. Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you work to create a safe, fun, and educational preschool. You lead and develop the educational activities together with the rest of the team. You have a special responsibility for teaching and work with the curriculum as a basis based on each child's knowledge, experiences, and specific conditions. All preschool teachers in Malmö city have scheduled time (5 hours/week) for reflection, documentation, and learning with colleagues.

Our environments are accessible, inspiring, changeable, and reflect the projects. We see daily how the environments work as the 3rd educator and enable children's influence. Pedagogical documentation is a natural approach in a project-based working method. In the principal's area, educators are as curious as the children in the exploratory working method. Children's interests are the starting point and driving force in the projects. We want children to experience imagination, creativity, play, nature, and health in a fun and playful way.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a preschool teacher license. We want you to contribute with commitment, creativity, and a drive to develop the activities. You meet each child with respect and attentiveness. Of course, you have a professional approach and work for good relationships with guardians and colleagues. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We would like you to have experience working with language development in preschool and that you have knowledge and experience regarding the Reggio Emilia pedagogical philosophy.

To be permanently employed as a preschool teacher, a preschool teacher license is required, according to the Education Act.
