Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher in wood and metal craft for grades 3-6 at Rörsjöskolan! Do you want to make a difference? You will teach craft together with a colleague who teaches textile craft and have a former craft teacher as your closest supervisor. We are looking for a craft teacher with a focus on wood and metal or dual qualification. Together, you will plan and be responsible for the students' education and development. Your focus will be on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You will work to ensure that students achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially, and actively influence and stimulate students to develop as far as possible to meet the knowledge requirements. At Rörsjöskolan, you will have the opportunity for development through structured collegial learning where we work both in subject groups and work teams. We learn together with present leadership and student health that participates in the development work together.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a certified teacher with qualifications for teaching grades 3-6 in wood and metal craft. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we consider it an advantage. You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional approach and work for good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

Rörsjöskolan is a F-6 school with over 700 students in four and five parallel classes. The school is located in Rörsjöstaden, in central Malmö, close to both green areas and cultural activities.
