The Labor Market Administration works to promote the municipality's growth by creating conditions for residents to have lifelong learning and be self-sufficient. We do this with a focus on skills supply and through coordinated operational services to companies, where we work to meet complex societal challenges with innovative methods. The administration consists of three departments: Labor Market, Quality and Coordination, and Campus Trelleborg, and has about 100 dedicated employees.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for substitute teachers primarily for our morning shifts (Monday – Friday, 9 – 12.20) and/or our evening shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 17 – 20) in SFI.

You have good collaboration skills, are responsible, punctual, multilingual, and have a good familiarity with digital tools. You are confident in yourself, have an easy time with direct communication, and can give and receive constructive feedback that you act upon.

As a substitute teacher in Swedish as a second language at SFI, you and your colleagues create a developing study environment for the students. You work according to the curriculum to increase goal fulfillment.

We work with a coaching approach focusing on the individual’s needs and conditions on the way to work or further studies.

Qualifications

You are a licensed teacher with at least 30 credits in Swedish as a second language.

Your teaching meets the different conditions of adult students, and you have a good ability to support each student in their progression. Therefore, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
