Would you like to be part of our dedicated team? We are an HR department that offers a dynamic environment with collaboration and development as key principles.

The HR department at LTH has 20 employees who together support LTH's managers and leadership and drive the work with HR issues forward. We are a department with many competencies and place great importance on sharing knowledge and learning from each other.

As an HR administrator at LTH's HR department, you will be part of a unit of 5 HR administrators who work together on various tasks within HR administration and have the HR unit manager as your closest supervisor.

In addition to the HR department, LTH also has HR administrative support at the various institutions of the faculty. We continuously meet in a network for HR administration where we share knowledge with each other and inform about changes in the HR field.

Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility

As an HR administrator at LTH's HR department, your main task is to provide administrative support within the HR area to the operations and its managers. We have a wide range of different tasks within HR administration and work to be a close support to the operations. Within the HR department, we continuously work to develop our working methods for effective and appropriate support to the operations. We are in a change process that means that the tasks within the group develop and change in line with the needs of the operations.

For the most part, you will work as an HR administrator for LTH's office in close collaboration with the office's HR Partner. Together, you will work to provide HR support to the managers at LTH's office. You will also work with other administrative tasks within the HR department, including handling and supporting temporarily employed personnel, such as intermittent employment.

Your tasks will include:

  • Advising and supporting in personnel administrative matters
  • Providing guidance in basic labor law and issues related to contracts
  • Administering and following up on e.g. vacations, absences, and leaves, application lifts, recruitments, documentation for employment, and employment decisions
  • Record-keeping
  • In collaboration with colleagues in the HR organization of the operations, developing and implementing local processes and administrative routines within the HR area
  • Other administrative tasks may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who thrives in an administrative role. You are administratively skilled and value good service. You have the ability to work proactively and structured and are not afraid to learn new tasks when needed. You keep track of cases, can collaborate with many parties, and find it easy to communicate with colleagues in both Swedish and English.

Requirements for Employment:

  • Current experience in administrative work
  • Basic knowledge of labor law and contract law
  • Good ability and experience in working with various systems such as personnel administrative systems, recruitment systems, Office package, etc.
  • Post-secondary education in the HR field or other education and/or work experience that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • Good communication skills
  • Good ability to structure and plan your own work
  • Good service ability
  • Good collaboration skills
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
  • Good knowledge of English in speech and writing.

Meritorious for Employment:

  • Experience of administrative work in the public sector
  • Experience or ability to conduct training and presentations.

Consideration will be given to how the applicant, through their experience and competence, is assessed to complement and strengthen the administrative work within the department and contribute to its future development.

The employment is a permanent position starting by agreement. A probationary period may be applied.
