As an Accountant at ELIQUO MALMBERG WATER, you will help build a strong finance department. The role involves close collaboration both locally and within the ELIQUO Group, with colleagues and functions in several countries. We are looking for someone who wants to take full responsibility for the company's accounting in a project-intensive operation. The role involves close cooperation with the project organization, Business Controller, and management to ensure accurate accounting, monitoring, and compliance. You will be part of the finance department, report to the CFO, and be based at our office in Lund.

The role of Accountant includes, among other things:

• Responsible for ongoing accounting and quality assurance of bookkeeping.

• Working with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Handling project accounting, including progressive profit recognition and monitoring of project results.

• Ensuring correct revenue and cost allocation in project accounting.

• Responsible for asset accounting, ongoing work, and accruals.

• Preparing reports for management and documentation for auditors.

• Contact with auditors, authorities, and external parties.

• Developing and improving accounting routines, processes, and internal controls.

• Supporting project managers and the business in accounting and VAT issues.

• Working in business systems, primarily Agresso (Unit4), alternatively Visma Business.

We would like you to have:

• Relevant academic education in finance/accounting or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of experience in the role of accountant or equivalent.

• Experience in accounting in project-oriented operations, preferably within construction, civil engineering, industry, or technical projects.

• Good knowledge of K3 and Swedish accounting legislation.

• Good system skills; experience with Agresso is an advantage, Visma Business is also beneficial.

• Very good skills in Excel.

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as a good command of the English language.
