Communicator with a focus on graphic production

Do you want to work broadly with the production of graphic material in a daily environment close to the operations? We are looking for a communicator who wants to develop with us, contribute to both large and small assignments, and be an important part of the service administration's communication work together with others in the team. The role suits you who are at the beginning or in a new stage of your career as a communicator and who wants to grow together with experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

As a communicator with a focus on content and production, you will work closely with our specialists in the communications department. You will help translate strategies and assignments into concrete communication in our channels, and have the opportunity to develop in both text and visual content.

Your tasks include:

• Producing graphic material according to the City of Malmö's graphic profile.
• Supporting photo and film production through filming, editing, adapting to channels, and publishing.
• Relieving the graphic communicator in ongoing productions.
• Writing, editing, and publishing texts for intranet, web, news, and internal channels.
• Updating and quality assuring content in digital channels.
• Contributing to communication efforts together with colleagues and being a support to managers and employees in everyday life.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in communication, media production, journalism, or another education that we consider equivalent.
• Good knowledge of graphic production or digital image/film editing and an interest in further developing in the field.
• The ability to plan your work, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in writing clear, target group-adapted texts.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Experience in communication work in larger organizations or the public sector.
• Familiarity with publishing tools.

About the workplace

In the communications department, our main task is to help managers and employees communicate the right things, at the right time, to the right target group, in the right channel. We create relevant content for our colleagues in our internal channels and in our external channels where we target Malmö residents!

The service administration is divided into five departments and offers everything from transportation services to IT and responding to citizens in the City of Malmö's contact center. We maintain streets, parks, green areas, and beaches, manage all of Malmö city's buildings, and ensure that our school students receive good and nutritious food. Together, we are a smart service partner to the city.
