About the Job

You will belong to a team that works with the review and investigation of VAT declarations from international companies. You will handle cases of mixed nature where there are both quick and simple cases as well as more complex cases that require good material VAT knowledge and further investigation through contact with the customer. In addition to handling cases, you will also manage related tasks. Depending on your profile and background, it may also be relevant to take on tasks from one of our other teams within international VAT in the unit.

The work involves many contacts, for example with customers and other authorities. You plan your own workday and drive your cases both independently and in collaboration with others.

You work closely with your colleagues, providing and receiving support from each other. The work is qualified, and you will learn and gain new knowledge both broadly and in depth. Your areas of work are determined in dialogue with your immediate supervisor, and together we develop your skills. You have flexible working hours, and it is essential for us that you maintain a balance between work and leisure.

You will belong to the Corporate Taxation Department and work in Corporate Taxation Unit 1, located in Malmö or Sundbyberg.

You should also have:

  • a university degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in economics or law, or several years of relevant work experience in qualified investigative work within the taxation area
  • at least one year of relevant work experience in economics, law, accounting, or bookkeeping.

It is desirable that you have work experience in qualified investigative work from a government agency. It is also desirable that you have current work experience in VAT.

Good to Know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
