As a Business Controller at ELIQUO MALMBERG WATER, you will help build a strong finance department. The role involves close collaboration both locally and within the ELIQUO Group, with colleagues and functions in several countries. We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with our projects and contribute to increased profitability, structure, and transparency in our project operations. The role is business-oriented and involves close cooperation with project managers, management, and the finance department throughout the project lifecycle.

You will be part of the finance department, report to the CFO, and be based in our office in Lund.

The role of Business Controller includes, among other things:

• Monitoring and analyzing project finances.

• Supporting project managers in financial matters and decision-making.

• Working with budgets and forecasts for projects and operations.

• Conducting profitability analyses, liquidity assessments, and risk analyses in projects.

• Developing and improving routines, processes, and reporting within project controlling.

• Participating in monthly closings and preparing reports and analyses for management.

• Participating in cost estimation work for bids and new projects.

• Working in business systems, primarily Agresso (Unit4), alternatively Visma Business.

We hope you have:

• Relevant academic education in finance, economics, or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Business Controller or Project Controller.

• Experience from project-oriented operations, preferably within construction, civil engineering, industry, or technical projects.

• Good system proficiency; experience with Agresso is highly meritorious, Visma Business is also advantageous.

• Very good knowledge of Excel.

• Good understanding of accounting, project accounting, and financial flows.

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and good proficiency in English.
