Räddningstjänsten Syd is a rescue service association working for a safer and more secure society. We are looking for a lawyer who wants to work broadly and qualified with legal issues in a socially important operation. For those with an interest or experience in information security, there is also an opportunity to take a coordinating responsibility in the area, shaped in dialogue based on your competence and profile.

The position is located in the association's central staff. You will be part of a qualified context with colleagues in various specialist areas and have the opportunity to work both strategically and close to operations. The work is characterized by independence, trust, and good opportunities to influence and shape important processes in the long term.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a legal counsel for the association, you have an overarching mission focused on legal advice and legal support to the association. You will provide strategic and operational legal support to the entire organization. You work closely with management and operations and actively contribute to decision-making processes, development work, and change initiatives. The role entails overall responsibility for legal matters within the association and provides ample room for professional judgment and independent assessments.
You provide qualified legal advice in areas such as operational issues, contracts, and procurement. You also support the association in analyses and assessments related to development and change, contributing to ensuring legal security and a well-functioning internal governance and control.
For those with an interest or experience in information security, there is an opportunity to take a coordinating responsibility in the area, in addition to the legal role. The scope and content are shaped in dialogue based on your competence and the needs of the organization. The assignment involves contributing to the structure, coordination, and development of the association's information security work in close collaboration with operations and other support functions.
The assignment involves close collaboration with operations and various support functions but does not include technical responsibility for IT security or system operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a law degree and experience in qualified legal work. To be considered for the position, you need to have good knowledge in some areas of administrative law, municipal law, public access and secrecy legislation, and data protection. You have experience working as legal support in a larger organization and are used to translating legal requirements into practically functioning working methods.
You are accustomed to drafting legal documents and have very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as a good ability to express yourself and convey information and knowledge in a pedagogical manner.
Experience from public operations is an advantage.
Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have experience in coordinating, developing, or building work within information security, quality, internal governance, or similar areas. Particularly valuable is experience in starting working methods and structures from scratch, driving development work across organizational boundaries, and getting different parts of the organization to contribute towards common goals.
To succeed in the position, you need to have a service-oriented and consultative approach, be receptive to different perspectives, and have good legal judgment that considers the whole. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and confident in working independently. Furthermore, we would like you to take initiative, drive issues forward, and thrive in roles where the assignment is not clearly defined. You have the ability to reason about quality and governance issues, create engagement, and get others to translate requirements and ambitions into practical work. You see opportunities, take responsibility, and actively contribute to development. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
As travel between our stations is required, you need to have a B driver's license.

Location: At the fire station Centrum in Malmö.
