JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Now you have the chance to come and work in the expanding Växjö and be part of the Department of Children and Family. We can offer you the opportunity to perform social work together with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues, in a department with high ambitions regarding quality, organization, and results. We offer a flexible workplace with the possibility to partially work from home. Are you passionate about details while also maintaining a holistic view? Then this is the position for you!

Within the open care sector, there are currently about 30 family therapists working with support for children, youth, and their families. As a specialist with us, you will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with other specialists in a coaching role to guide and support therapists in cases. The specialist will also serve as a link between open care and authorities to ensure a legally secure case process and clarity in plans and follow-ups. With a new social services act that allows us to offer services without needs assessment, you as a specialist will play an important role in supporting therapists to set goals and drive processes within families. We are currently facing a reorganization where you as a specialist will belong to the Family Treatment Team but have an overarching role.

As a specialist, you will work closely with unit managers for open care as well as in teams with other specialists within Open Care. Our therapists receive regular external supervision in which you will also participate.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another equivalent behavioral science education. We would prefer that you have experience both as a therapist and within authority operations.

It is advantageous if you have training in Signs and Safety as well as good knowledge of BBIC.

To thrive with us and perform the work well, we see it as important that you have an easy time collaborating with others and can be flexible in your working methods. You are a person who is secure in yourself and can thrive in a role that at times can be a bit solitary but where you also need to have good cooperation with many different people. As a person, you are positive and easily adapt to new conditions and environments. You should have the ability to focus on details while also capturing the big picture.

A driving license (B) is required as well as basic computer skills.

OTHER

Employees of Växjö Municipality should reflect the diversity that exists in the municipality. We welcome applicants regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity.

As a permanent employee, you will typically be placed in our organization in case of war.
