Active Care Rundelsgatan A and B, C

Active Care's facilities on Rundelsgatan are both HVB located in Linköping. We accept children and youth aged 14-21 in need of individualized treatment in our apartment concept. We actively and purposefully work to create a safe, trusting, and meaningful environment.

About the role

As an assistant operations manager, you are a key person in the organization and work closely with the operations manager as well as independently in the daily operations. On behalf of the operations manager, you are responsible for leading and driving the operational work at the residence. You have independent responsibility for daily operations, planning of the organization, and creating good conditions for employees to deliver safe and qualitative care.

You have delegated responsibility for personnel, finances, and quality. You follow up on the organization's goals and contribute to the systematic quality work.

You report directly to the operations manager.

Main responsibilities:
  • Responsible for daily operational activities, personnel, and scheduling

  • Conduct systematic quality and organizational development

  • Ensure that agreements, assignments, and regulations are followed

  • Responsible for admission decisions for clients and maintain good cooperation with customers, commissioners, and relatives

  • Finance and budget related to the organization

  • Ensure occupancy according to budget and set goals

  • Collaborate with the sales function and other support functions

Who are we looking for

You have a strong drive and experience working with HVB for youth. Now you see the opportunity to take the next step in your development through a leadership role. Perhaps this is your path to eventually assume the role of operations manager and be responsible for an HVB operation.

Active Care is in a development phase, and we see that you are a quick learner, communicative, and willing to take on significant responsibility. Furthermore, you have a solution-focused approach, with the ability to work proactively and towards set goals. In your daily work, you create good collaboration with employees, relatives, and external contacts.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Higher education such as social worker, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent education according to the requirements from the Health and Care Inspectorate (IVO)

  • Previous leadership experience

  • Previous experience working in HVB care for children and youth and/or social services.

  • Driving license B

We also consider it meritorious if you have:

  • Training in methodologies for social work, e.g., low-affect approach and MI

  • Experience in staffing work

  • Social law

  • Worked in a larger organization and/or company in strong growth

Start date: By agreement, preferably 1/6 2026
