Boxholm municipality is now looking for three assessors who want to drive the transition towards a more accessible, preventive, and sustainable social service – based on the new social services act.

About the role

We are in the midst of an important development journey where we are reviewing and strengthening our working methods. As an assessor, you will play a central role in this work and have the opportunity to combine qualified authority exercise with real development work.

As an assessor, you will work with authority exercise according to SoL, focusing on adults. The assignment also includes handling related to LSS, where good knowledge and understanding of the legislation are important.

The position also includes:

• Handling and assessment of interventions according to SoL
• Handling of transport service cases
• Handling of estate cases
• Collaboration with internal and external actors
• Active participation in change and development work related to the new social services act

We work for a more cohesive, legally secure, and individual-centered approach – where you can influence how the assignment is shaped going forward.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained social worker or have another education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have experience in authority exercise according to SoL and knowledge in LSS and IBIC. Experience in transport service and estate handling is meritorious but not a requirement.

You are:

• Confident in your role as an assessor in making decisions and working in a politically governed organization
• Structured, responsible, and professional, with the ability for self-leadership
• Interested in development work and new working methods as well as monitoring the external environment
• Skilled in expressing yourself in the Swedish language, both spoken and written
