Coordinator for Personal Assistance
The position is located within the Social Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Social Administration is responsible for authority exercise, ordering services, and self-management in the areas of individual and family care, LSS, and social psychiatry. We ensure that all residents receive the support they are entitled to.

Your Responsibilities
As a coordinator for personal assistance, you are the "spider in the web" and have close collaboration with our assistance recipients, employees, operational managers, and other partners. Together with operational managers, you work for good accessibility, good customer relations, satisfied employees, and a balanced economy. The assignment involves planning, coordinating, and executing tasks within the areas of operations, employees, and finance.
You work together with the operational manager for personal assistance. You will be involved in administrative tasks such as time reporting and purchasing. You are proactive in various improvement efforts and follow-ups and serve as a sounding board in connection with scheduling managed by our staffing planners. You work with daily staffing in collaboration with your colleagues who are also coordinators. Together with the operational manager, you are responsible for workplace meetings.
Your Workplace
The LSS department within the Social Administration offers services according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons, on behalf of the Social and Care Committee. The LSS department is responsible for group homes and service housing, short-term respite care, cultural and recreational activities, and family care. The Social Administration in Linköping is now starting a new personal assistance operation. You Who Apply
We are looking for someone who has a high school education, preferably in administration, and previous experience working with staffing and scheduling issues. It is an advantage if you have experience in 24/7 operations within personal assistance or other services in the area of support, care, and welfare. It is desirable that you have previous experience in a coordinating role.
You communicate well verbally and in writing in Swedish, as the work involves customer contacts and documentation.
You are accustomed to administrative tasks, and since most tasks are handled in our data systems, you need to be familiar with digital work methods and easily navigate different systems. You handle various systems related to staffing and scheduling daily, which means you need to have good knowledge of these or similar systems. It is an advantage if you are familiar with the LSS Act and other relevant legislation within social law and labor law.
In your role as a coordinator, you collaborate with many different actors and can have multiple tasks simultaneously. This means you need to be able to independently prioritize effectively. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive your processes forward. You collaborate well with others, listen and communicate clearly, and have a good ability to create and maintain relationships. To thrive in this role, you need to easily adapt to changing circumstances, quickly change your perspective and approach, and see opportunities in changes.
