We offer you The workgroup at Rådmansgatan 1 group home has undergone changes and developed a secure working method where the needs of our residents are at the center. As in all other professions working with people, we can promise that no day is the same, even though we have good planning for each day. We have received training in AAC and actively work with it. During the year 2026, several trainings relevant to the profession will be offered by the employer. Workplace learning with APT as a forum is central to our workplace; unpretentious and collegial support is a prerequisite for managing the job.

Job Description

As a support pedagogue within the group home, you provide our residents with support in their daily lives based on a pedagogical approach. The work is scheduled for days/evenings/weekends. Care and support are provided based on the individual’s needs, integrity, and self-determination. Communication and collaboration with internal and external partners as well as legal representatives are a significant part of the daily work. In your daily work, you are expected to receive medication and insulin delegation.

Together with your colleagues, you work to involve the individual in their own daily life based on given conditions. You will provide support for individuals with diagnoses within NPF and intellectual disabilities. Interventions vary from compensatory to supportive. The support pedagogue within Support and Service should:

  • Ensure that guidelines for social documentation are followed and that the quality of implementation plans and social documentation is maintained in the own unit, and if necessary, also in other units.
  • Guide employees in the pedagogical work based on the user's needs and chosen working methods and suggest pedagogical solutions.
  • Teach and convey knowledge in working methods, methods, and models and gather knowledge as needed.
  • Support and develop change processes.
  • Be a helpful coordinator and manager in the work of following up and addressing deviations.

You are expected to make independent decisions within the framework of your mandate if the situation requires it. Always viewing your work from the perspective of the individual’s best interests in dialogues about proposals and working methods.

Qualifications

We see that you have relevant education, for example, as a support pedagogue, occupational therapist, social pedagogue, social worker, leisure pedagogue, or educator within adapted school. We expect you to have experience in the profession and work within the LSS sector. You are used to working based on clarifying pedagogy, low-arousal responses, AAC, and visual support. You take responsibility for your work and the function of the organization as a whole; are communicative and can work independently and in a group. Good computer skills and experience in documentation are prerequisites for being able to work with us.

It is an advantage if you have experience with ESL or other working methods that facilitate the daily life of the individual.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude towards their work and who enjoys meeting people. You see areas for development and take the initiative to change them in consultation with colleagues and management. The work requires good initiative, a salutogenic view of people, and a high work ethic.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You will need to provide a certificate from the Police's criminal record register.
