The tasks of an administrator may include supporting colleagues with administrative tasks and being a central point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, the tasks may involve planning and coordination, document management, and purchasing office supplies. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the public sector.

Responsibilities

Examples of tasks: 

  • manage administrative routines
  • plan and coordinate
  • work according to established routines
  • be an operational support for the organization
  • draft letters, minutes, documentation, etc.
  • handle recurring tasks (e.g., copying, sorting, and mail handling)
  • assist and provide service to one or more persons (e.g., a manager or a department)
  • manage many contacts with employees and the public
  • perform simple calculations, compilations, and diagrams
  • make calendar bookings and meeting arrangements
  • carry out travel planning.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of high school education or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in administration
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Previous experience working in the public sector

Meritorious: 

  • Previous experience working administratively in municipal/state sectors
  • System knowledge in: Proceedo, SAP
