JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Burlöv Municipality is looking for substitutes for the summer of 2026 for work in care and support or LSS functional support. With us, you will help make everyday life easier for our users and spread joy through your work.

As a substitute within Burlöv Municipality, you have the opportunity to work in several different areas, allowing you to gain experience and contribute to important societal functions. Here is a summary of the different work areas:

• Special housing: Here you work with elderly people and provide support and care around the clock in individual apartments in a shared accommodation. This means you can assist with personal care, medication management, meals, and social support, all to improve the quality of life for the residents.
• Home care: In home care, you work to support users living in their own homes. This may include tasks such as cleaning, assistance with hygiene, personal care, medication management, and other practical support to help them live as independently as possible.
• Functional support LSS: In this area, you work with individuals who have various forms of disabilities and help them participate in society on equal terms. This may involve providing support in daily activities, creating meaningful occupations, and contributing to increasing their participation in community life.

QUALIFICATIONS

Here’s what we are looking for in you:

• You are at least 18 years old and have a genuine interest in working with people in need of support.
• You are attentive to others' needs.
• You have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good language comprehension.
• You have a positive attitude, are flexible, and enjoy collaborating.
• Education or experience in care or similar is a merit.
• We see that you are willing to work the entire summer period of June, July, and August.
• For work in home care, it is required that you can cycle.
