One-Year Temporary Position in Support and Service

Support and Service in Skellefteå municipality works to create good living conditions for people with disabilities. Through various housing options, housing support, daily activities, and personal assistance, we provide support that strengthens independence, participation, and quality of life. Our operations are spread throughout the municipality and are characterized by commitment, quality, and a willingness to develop.

YOUR ROLE

You will be part of the Operations Support team within Support and Service at the Social Office. In this role, you will work independently on change and development assignments commissioned by the department. The assignments vary in content and scope, providing you with a diverse and stimulating workday. You will drive processes forward and take your own initiatives while collaborating closely with managers and employees in the operations.

You will plan and lead workshops, conduct investigations, mapping, and insight work, and support the operations in developing and improving their working methods. The work is based on legislation and political decisions, with the individual's needs always at the center. Assignments may include crisis preparedness, digitalization, process development, and innovation.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with a university degree and experience in change and development work. Good communication and writing skills in Swedish and strong digital skills are required for the role.

You have experience leading groups and have held a leadership role in various contexts, even if you have not been a manager. This may involve driving processes, coordinating work, or otherwise guiding and engaging a group towards common goals.

Experience in social services and a good understanding of social services processes and organization is an advantage.

As a person, you are self-driven and proactive. You plan, structure, and carry out your work independently, take your own initiatives, and create contacts and collaborations to drive development forward. To succeed in this role, you enjoy both administrative tasks that require precision and structure, as well as problem-solving work where you can think outside the box and find creative solutions.

A driver's license (B) is an advantage as travel to operations may occur.
