About the job as Vendor Support Specialist

As a Vendor Support Specialist at Siemens, you will be part of a Nordic finance team consisting of five people who together are responsible for deliveries to Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The role involves creating reports and documentation for salespeople and vendor partners regarding bonus and split payments. You will manage parameters in accordance with contracts and systems and ensure that the documentation is both correct and delivered on time.

You will also work with invoice registration, verification, and matching of invoices before payment. The role further includes analysis, reconciliation, and accounting of bonus-related provisions. You will have ongoing contact with both internal and external parties in the Nordics, and you are expected to take an active role in developing work methods and quality assurance within vendor support.

Common tasks:

• Create reports and documentation for bonus and split payments.
• Ensure correct parameters in accordance with systems and collaboration agreements.
• Register, verify, and match invoices before payments.
• Perform analysis, reconciliation, and accounting of bonus-related provisions.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with sales and finance departments as well as vendor partners in the Nordics.
• Contribute to the development of work methods and quality assurance within Vendor Support.
• Collaborate with internal contacts, managers, and support functions in the Nordics.

The candidate we are looking for

We are looking for someone with an academic background in finance and a few years of experience in accounting or similar tasks. You are comfortable handling contracts, numbers, and analysis, and you have a natural aptitude for structure, accuracy, and problem-solving. Since the business is international, you need to be comfortable communicating in English both verbally and in writing.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent education.
• Has 1-4 years of experience in a similar role or as an accounting economist.
• Is comfortable with tasks related to contract management and accounting.
• Has excellent skills in Excel.
• Fluently speaks and writes in English and Swedish.
• Has advantageous knowledge of Finnish.

Desirable:

• Experience in banking and finance.
• Experience in manufacturing industry.
• Experience in international operations.
