Administrator at the Naval Staff's Logistics Department

About the Department
The Naval Staff's logistics department consists of three sections and is responsible for the Navy's logistics during operations, missions, and exercises. Furthermore, the department is responsible for capability-building logistics primarily within supply, medical care, and inventory management.
Main Responsibilities
As an administrator in the logistics department, you will play an important role in supporting the department head and the three sections of the department. You will have overall responsibility for coordinating and supporting the department's various activities, both internally and externally in contacts with e.g., other units, authorities, and organizations, in both Swedish and English. As an administrator, you will coordinate, participate, and support various meetings and exercises. Your role requires proactive work as well as high flexibility to quickly handle emerging tasks. You will be responsible for the overall control and structure of e.g., calendar management, email management, travel administration, conferences, presentations, documentation, minutes, and case flows.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- 3-year high school diploma or equivalent education/work experience that the employer deems relevant
- Good knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office suite
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
- Driving license B

DESIRABLE
- Documented experience in a position involving administrative coordination
- Previous service within the Armed Forces
- Experience working in SAP/PRIO
- Experience with case management systems, e.g., VIDAR

Employment type: Permanent position. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority.

Muskö. The Naval Staff offers a commuter bus from central Stockholm to Muskö with several stops along the way.
Business trips both domestically and internationally may occur.
The position is classified for security purposes.
