The work involves support in personal and sensitive situations. Considering the user's wishes and right to personal integrity, we are looking for a male support assistant in this recruitment.

At Matjes Emils Gård, daily activities are conducted with responsibility for the farm's operation and maintenance, such as lawn mowing, snow shoveling, gardening, etc. The organization also runs a conference business, and some baking is part of the daily tasks together with the users, and a bakery is available on the farm.

The work is planned and designed based on each individual, taking into account personal circumstances, interests, and needs. Our goal is to create opportunities for independent and participatory work, while the tasks should be developing, stimulating, and perceived as meaningful.

In the work, you support the user in daily activities, in close collaboration with colleagues, job consultants, unit managers, deputy unit managers, and other important actors in the user's network, to create meaningful and individualized employment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant, you work together with your colleagues to meet the individual needs of users in their daily activities based on the implementation plan. The tasks are varied and always designed based on each person's circumstances, with the goal of promoting participation, independence, and a meaningful everyday life.

The work also includes establishing implementation plans, documenting in the operational system Life Care, and maintaining contact with the users' networks related to the assignment.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, secure, and attentive, with a focus on the user's best interests and the ability to work individually tailored. The work is both varied and challenging, requiring flexibility, initiative, a positive attitude, and good collaboration skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Requirements for the Position

• Child and Youth Program, Health and Care Program, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Documented experience working with the LSS target group
• Documentation and computer skills
• Very good oral and written skills in Swedish
• Driver's license B (manual)

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is proactive and user-focused to develop the work according to the needs of users and the organization. Since the work in daily activities is changeable, you need to be flexible and have a creative view of your role and be prepared for your assignment to change based on needs. You quickly absorb new knowledge and use your experience flexibly. You need to be solution-focused and able to structure and plan content for users based on their circumstances and goals.

It is important that you have a professional approach and the ability to create trusting and lasting relationships. It is essential to meet people with complex needs and varying issues.

You enjoy working both individually and in a group, collaborating with others, and helping each other in the group to achieve the goals of the organization.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Training in low-arousal approaches
• Training in sign language AAC/TAAC
• Practical skills in carpentry, welding, and simpler machines such as lawnmowers and ATVs
