On January 14, we launched our new service, En väg in, a reception unit where guardians, children, and adolescents seek assessment, advice, and guidance regarding mental health issues. We are now looking for another licensed health and medical care curator and hope that you want to join our team consisting of a nurse, curator, psychologist, medical secretary, and unit manager.

About the workplace

En väg in is the entry point for children and youth aged 0 to 18 who seek advice and support regarding mental health issues. Our goal is to create a service that can best meet different age groups and questions based on mixed competencies and experiences. If there is a need for interventions from health and medical care, En väg in will assess whether support should be offered through the first line (Conversation reception for children and youth/Youth reception) or within specialized care for children and youth (BUP). If support is to be offered through specialized care, information about all relevant BUP clinics according to LOV (The Act on System of Choice) will be provided.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM, with the possibility of flexible hours if the operations allow. Some remote work is possible in the long term.

Licensed health and medical care curator for En väg in, Borlänge Job Responsibilities

The work as a health and medical care curator at En väg in includes:

• Receiving, responding to, and assessing incoming phone calls and referrals for children and adolescents with mild, moderate, and severe mental health issues.
• Providing advice, support, and assessing the need for care and triaging to the correct level of care. A large part of patient contact will be conducted via phone and digitally.
• If necessary, conducting a structured assessment using the BCFPI (Brief Child and Family Phone Interview) interview form. The result of the BCFPI, together with your overall clinical assessment, will form the basis for what level of care the child/adolescent should be offered for continued care.
• Collaborating with and gathering information from social services and school health services.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed health and medical care curator.
• has experience in the profession and good knowledge of and experience working with children and adolescents and their families.
• has a good and broad competence to quickly make qualified assessments and provide advice and support to parents, adolescents, and professionals based on their specific situation and needs.
• wants to develop in your profession and be involved in developing a new service.
• has good pedagogical skills and enjoys working in a team.
• is responsible, service-oriented, reliable, and easy to collaborate with others.
• enjoys working in a varied and changeable environment together with different professions and partners.

Meritorious:

• Basic psychotherapeutic training
• Experience working in first-line mental health, youth reception, child and adolescent psychiatry, pediatric medicine, or school health services.
• Previous experience in telephone counseling and digital healthcare meetings.

This position requires you to have a valid license for the relevant profession.
