Civitas Assistans was founded to offer something unique in personal assistance in Dalarna: a warm, family-oriented, yet professional alternative. Those of us who work here have extensive experience in assistance both privately and professionally. As a personal assistant with us, you will be a key person in someone’s life. Therefore, we take our role as an employer seriously. With us, you will not only get a job, but also a context where you can grow, influence, and feel important. Do you want to be a part of my everyday life?

I am usually a happy 35-year-old girl who needs help and guidance to make my everyday life work. I am now looking for assistants who want to create as independent and valuable a life as possible with me based on my circumstances.

I live in my own apartment in Falun. Together with my assistants, I enjoy watching movies, crafting, and going on trips with my car. Some days when it works for me, we go to DV. Your tasks will involve helping me in my daily life, including personal care, assistance with dressing and undressing, household chores, cooking, and being helpful with various activities inside and outside the home.

I am now looking for someone who wants to start working with me, who can consider becoming a part of my regular group. With me, you work shifts from 09:30 to 09:30 with double assistance. One person works awake during the shift while the other has waiting time.

Who are you?

You as an assistant are calm and gentle, with good patience, a cheerful demeanor, and a sense of humor. For me, personal chemistry is important; I need to feel that you care about me and genuinely want to be with me, otherwise it will not work. You will become a colleague to a happy and good team where many have worked with me for a long time. Those who work here are flexible and hope you are like-minded; they support each other to ensure we all thrive. I feel most comfortable with female assistants, preferably with experience in autism so that you can understand me better, but your personal qualities are absolutely the most important to me. It is important that you master the Swedish language in both speech and writing and that you are straightforward and clear in your communication, as it helps me to understand.

For this position, you are required to have:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• A valid B driver's license
• Ability to tolerate pets (dog)

It is also an advantage if you have:

• Experience working as an assistant
• Experience with autism
