The Social Services Administration works based on the principle that all people we meet have the same value and are unique. Within the administration, there are IFO, LSS operations, social psychiatry, health care, home care, and special housing. About 800 employees work here around the clock for our target groups.

The Children and Family unit consists of 25 employees, organized into different teams within social child and youth care.

We are now entering a development phase where we strengthen and refine the work with placed children and youth. As part of this, we are looking for a social worker who will work with the follow-up of care for placed children and youth, with opportunities for deepening and specialization in the area.

We have several experienced social workers with a long time in the organization, which creates stability and security. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to make a difference together with others? Do you want to work with placed children and youth in an organization where collaboration, support, and the best interests of the child are at the center? With us, you will work long-term, legally secure, and close to the child, in a safe context with experienced colleagues, short decision-making paths, and present leadership.

As a social worker, you have primary responsibility for the follow-up of care for placed children and youth and for ensuring that each child receives the care, security, and development that the placement aims for. You handle interventions and investigations based on the child's individual needs and have a coordinating role regarding the child's entire care situation.

You continuously follow up on how the child is doing in their placement based on care and implementation plans and maintain close dialogue with the child, foster home, guardians, and other networks. Through long-term and structured work, you strive for stability, continuity, and good growing conditions, where the child's rights, participation, and best interests are always at the center.

The position is part of our ongoing development towards a more cohesive and specialized approach to placed children. You will work closely with other caseworkers with the same target group and have good opportunities to develop the work together with colleagues.

You collaborate particularly closely with foster home caseworkers, who are responsible for support and guidance to the foster homes, as well as family therapists, who work with the biological network. Together, you create wholeness, continuity, and quality in the interventions around the child.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in social work or another equivalent higher education with at least 180 higher education credits
• Experience in public authority within social child and youth care
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• A valid driver's license (B)

Meritorious:

• Experience with BBIC and Signs of Safety
• Knowledge of Pulsen Combine
