JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you looking for an exciting and varied job where you have the opportunity to make a difference? The Individual and Family Care (IFO), where the assistance group is placed, is part of the social administration in Malung-Sälen Municipality. We work evidence-based and always have the client in focus. We have 31 dedicated employees, and we are now looking for a temporary colleague for the position of assistance officer.

As an assistance officer in care and support, primarily in elderly care, you will work in a legally secure manner with investigations, decisions, and follow-ups regarding needs and interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL). You will work as an assistance officer with investigations, decisions, and follow-ups regarding needs and interventions.

You will work as an important link between our residents who need help and support in their daily lives and our other social administration as you implement political decisions and communicate our assignments.

As a case officer, you are responsible for ensuring that meetings with users and relatives maintain good quality and that collaboration with both internal and external actors moves forward. You will work independently on many cases but are part of a workgroup where dialogue and consultation with your closest colleagues and supervisors are a natural part of daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant academic education. For example, a trained social worker, social care degree, legal education, or other education that the employer considers equivalent and valuable.

Experience in public authority exercise under SoL directed towards care and support, as well as knowledge of the organization, is an advantage. You have knowledge of applicable legislation and documentation, as well as a good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. Legal security and good quality are a given for you.

To be successful in the job, you need to be stable and secure in yourself. You have a high degree of flexibility, can handle a wide variety of cases, and contribute to a good collaborative climate. You are empathetic and clear in your meetings with users and have a good ability to collaborate with your colleagues. Through good judgment, you drive your work in a structured and independent manner.

Experience with Treserva is an advantage.

A driver's license (B) is required as travel occurs in the position.
