The Social Services Administration works based on the principle that all people we meet have the same value and are unique. Within the administration, there are IFO, LSS operations, social psychiatry, health and medical care, home care, and special accommodations. About 800 employees work here around the clock for our target groups.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Being a personal assistant is a responsible job that provides personal development and a lot of joy in return. Your work is based on the implementation plan established to meet the user's needs and decisions. The work includes personal and some medical care such as assistance during meals, dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, and transfers. Delegated healthcare tasks may also occur.

The work is performed in the user's home where they live with their family or in another location where the user is present. This means close cooperation with the family. There are animals in the home.

A large part of your work involves planning and coordinating the user's daily activities, and you will also provide support during leisure activities such as horseback riding and stable activities. The working hours are mostly in the evenings, but daytime and weekend work may also occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a high school education approved for the job, such as nursing assistant training, child and leisure program, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience working with people with disabilities is an advantage.

Part of the job involves accompanying the user on leisure activities, and in this case, you need to be able to participate in a stable environment during horseback riding.

We are looking for someone who drives their work forward and takes responsibility for their tasks. You have good collaboration skills and can relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner. You also have the ability to understand someone else's perspective and adapt the way you convey your message to different people.

You demonstrate personal maturity, are responsible, and have an approach that respects the user's integrity and self-determination. Some tasks may involve lifting and transfers, which requires physical capability.

Since a large part of your tasks involves good communication with the user and their family, as well as documentation, good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. Basic computer skills for documentation, scheduling, and email communication are a must. A B driver's license is required.
