Do you want to make a real difference in people's lives?

Malmgården is looking for an engaged treatment assistant

As a treatment assistant at Malmgården, you will play an important role in supporting people on their way to a more stable and independent life. You will work supportively with clients who have substance abuse issues – often in combination with mental health problems – and help them find their way back to everyday life and society.

With us, you will work both in our cozy facilities and out in the clients' homes. Your focus is to strengthen the individual's own resources in areas such as daily routines, social relationships, as well as employment and meaningful leisure time.

We always start from each client's unique needs. Together with the client, you will create an individual plan and follow up on progress through regular documentation in our journal system.

The position involves shift work during the day, evening, and night (sleeping on call) both weekdays and weekends.

With us, you will receive:

  • The opportunity to work in an engaged team
  • A meaningful job where you make a difference – every day
  • Varied tasks with great opportunities to influence

Welcome to a workplace where every step counts – for our clients and for you.

Qualifications

Are you a secure and attentive person with experience in meeting people in vulnerable life situations?

We are now looking for a treatment assistant with commitment and personal maturity.

We are looking for someone who has training as a treatment assistant – or other education that we assess as equivalent – and who has experience working with people in vulnerability. Previous experience working with individuals with substance abuse issues is an advantage.

Basic IT skills to document in our journal system are a requirement. A B driver's license and the ability to drive the municipality's vehicles are also required for the position.

To succeed in the role, you need to be able to understand another person's life situation without losing your professional stance. You are secure in yourself, have good self-awareness, and understand the importance of staying calm even in pressured situations. You adapt to changing conditions and maintain a solution-focused perspective in various situations. You can collaborate and build trusting relationships – both with colleagues and clients. You have a good understanding of how people absorb information and can adjust your approach and communication based on the individual's needs.
