BUP Region Dalarna consists of five outpatient clinics, an acute team, ward 68, a family therapy unit, and an eating disorder unit. We are now offering a position at the outpatient clinic in picturesque Mora, a location that provides opportunities for a rich leisure life regardless of interests and is close to most amenities. We work with families where children and adolescents exhibit serious child psychiatric issues and apply a wide range of evidence-based treatment methods. When necessary, treatment is carried out in close collaboration with, among others, schools and social services.

You will become part of a dedicated and competent team consisting of social workers, psychotherapists, psychologists, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, and administrative staff. Social worker/therapist wanted for our team at BUP Mora!Job Responsibilities

As a social worker, you contribute with the psychosocial perspective, including psychological, systemic, and social legal perspectives regarding patients and relatives. You are an important part of the interdisciplinary collaboration where you have particularly good knowledge of the influencing factors that may underlie ill health and child psychiatric symptoms. You use your knowledge in assessment conversations, interdisciplinary discussions, and in the child psychiatric treatment work. In your role as a social worker, you work to strengthen patients' and relatives' ability to handle external and internal stressors through conversations, family and network work, and social measures such as collaboration/coordinating. It also includes psychotherapeutic treatment with individuals, families, and groups depending on your level of education and experience.

As a new social worker, you will be offered a mentor and will also participate in ongoing supervision. During your first year, you will undergo an introductory training designed to complement and deepen your child psychiatric knowledge and familiarize you with the organization's routines and guidelines. Here, the best interests of the organization and patients are always in focus, and we therefore wish for you to have a flexible and positive attitude towards new challenges and changes.

Requirements for the position:

Degree in social work, as well as experience in investigative or therapeutic work, or other work with children, adolescents, and families. The position requires a valid driver's license (B).

Desirable for the position:

Authorization as a health and medical care social worker, psychotherapy training and/or other suitable further education.

Region Dalarna will introduce a requirement for authorization as a health and medical care social worker from 2029-07-01 for those who will work as social workers in healthcare.
