Chief Coordinator for I 21's Regimental Staff
Do you want to be part of the Swedish Armed Forces' continued growth? Now is your chance to become part of I 21's Regimental Staff, a department tasked with preparing material for the regiment's leadership and supporting the Commander of I 21 in decision-making. I 21 is one of Sweden's infantry regiments. The regiment trains and recruits officers and soldiers for units for national and international tasks.
Main Responsibilities
As Chief Coordinator, you will have a number of different areas of responsibility and tasks, including:
- Providing support to the regimental leadership, which includes coordinating, preparing, and processing matters with different time perspectives, coordinating calendar and meeting planning, and taking minutes at meetings.
- Acting as a coordinator between the Commander of I 21 and other parts of the regiment as well as external actors.
- Coordinating and managing the daily flow of matters for the Commander of I 21, as well as booking and following up on calendars, meetings, and travel.
- Processing in the Armed Forces' document and case management system.
- Coordinating events/arrangements.
- Coordinating representation at the regimental level.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Completed upper secondary education.
- Several years of experience in administrative work, preferably as a secretary/coordinator.
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
- Very good skills in MS Office.
- Driving license B.
Meritorious:
- Current experience as a secretary/coordinator.
- Experience in administrative work in the Armed Forces or another authority.
- Experience with Sharepoint.
- Experience with the Armed Forces' administrative systems such as PRIO and Vidar.
- Good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form.
- Completed military basic training.

Other Information
Employment type: Permanent, starting with a six-month probationary period.
Employment rate: Full-time.
Work location: Sollefteå, travel may occur.

In 2022, the Västernorrland Regiment was re-established with the Jämtland Field Ranger Corps, I 21. A new regiment with centuries-old traditions in Västernorrland and Jämtland. With us, you have the opportunity to be part of something unique, the re-establishment of a regiment in Lower Norrland.
I 21 currently has operations in Sollefteå, Östersund, and Härnösand and is responsible for the Lower Norrland Garrison. In Sollefteå, there is the Regimental Staff (with personnel in both Sollefteå and Östersund) and the Ångermanland Infantry Battalion. In Östersund, there is the Jämtland Field Ranger Corps. In addition, there are Garrison Support Units, Defense Health, and Logistics Units operating in Sollefteå, Östersund, and Härnösand.
At the Ångermanland Infantry Battalion and the Jämtland Field Ranger Corps, we train conscripted soldiers for service in the new modern infantry under our proud motto “From mountains to sea, for the defense of Lower Norrland.”
