Köping Municipality is working to strengthen entrepreneurship, growth, and attractiveness throughout the municipality. We are now looking for a business coordinator who will play an important role in developing the dialogue between the municipality, the business community, and regional actors.

As a business coordinator, you will be a hub in the work of the business department and contribute to ensuring that our initiatives are planned, coordinated, followed up, and communicated professionally. You will be responsible for internal coordination and administrative support for the department, ensuring bookings and documentation, as well as collecting and compiling materials, statistics, and follow-up data from regional and national actors. You will also serve as a communication support in the work with the website, social media, newsletters, and mailings.

Your role includes planning and coordinating the department's initiatives in local collaborations, meetings, and events, booking company visits together with the department's other roles, and following up on simpler service surveys related to business contacts.

An important part of the assignment is also to be cohesive in the business department's work related to local safety and security, participate in situational meetings, and support information dissemination.

You find it easy to build relationships, enjoy working collaboratively, and can see the big picture from both the municipality's and the business community's perspectives. You have the ability to switch between operational work and more overarching coordination, and you feel comfortable representing your work and presenting to others.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your job responsibilities include, among other things:

• Coordinating company visits, meetings, and councils
• Responsible for invitations, bookings, calendars, and event logistics
• Compiling materials for newsletters, website, and social media (in collaboration with the communications department)
• Collecting and monitoring relevant facts and statistics from authorities and organizations
• Updating and administering customer and business support systems
• Driving and developing the Summer Square together with the municipality's administrations, companies, and local businesses
• Planning and executing Business Mornings based on the set program
• Administering and managing Business Day and the Council together with the Business Strategist
• Documenting business contacts in the existing support system

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent competence that the employer assesses as equivalent
• Experience in administrative work and coordination
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
• Good system familiarity and experience working with digital tools

Meritorious

• University education in a relevant field
• Experience or education in communication
• Experience working with social media as a communication channel
• Experience working in public operations
• Experience with the publishing tool Sitevision

We place great emphasis on personal qualities as the business department is small but has a large mission.

Start date and salary according to agreement. For this role, the salary range is generally 33,000 - 38,000 SEK/month based on competence and experience. A probationary period may be applied.
