The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse. SiS LVM home Renforsen is located in Vindeln and provides care for men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse, combined with mental health issues.
Job Description
Take the opportunity to try an interesting summer position as a treatment pedagogue/treatment assistant at SiS. SiS LVM home Renforsen is now looking for 14 treatment pedagogues/treatment assistants during the summer period of 2026.
The goal of your assignment is to motivate our clients to new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment pedagogue, you will help ensure that the routines in the department work as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and security of our clients, and you are responsible for the foundation of daily life, such as daily activities, cleaning, and cooking, among others. You will contribute to maintaining safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building good treatment relationships and contribute to ensuring that our clients receive the security and safety they need to break ingrained behaviors. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.
Working hours are according to a schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
As a summer substitute at SiS, you will undergo a tailored introductory training to prepare you for your assignment.
Qualifications
You should also have:
- At least a 2-year post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or other education equivalent to this. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.
- Driver's license B
- Good Swedish in speech and writing
*Exceptions to the requirement for at least a two-year post-secondary education may be made in individual cases if there are special reasons according to Chapter 5, Section 4 of the Social Services Ordinance (2025:468).
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., in psychiatry or LSS care
- Experience in client-facing positions within other government agencies
- Education in health and social care
- Experience working with our target group in substance abuse care

We want to reward you for helping us during the summer period; therefore, if you work full-time as a monthly employed substitute for more than four weeks, you will receive a bonus. You will receive more information about what applies during the interview.

The positions are temporary employment during the summer period from week 25 to 32.
