ABOUT THE POSITION

At Aktiv Assistans, we are currently seeking a personal assistant for our client in Umeå. The position is an hourly job as needed, covering shifts during regular staff absences and sick leave. Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

  • 07:00 - 15:30

  • 15:30 - 22:00

Start date is by agreement, and we prefer that you can begin the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a woman in her late 30s with an interest in interior design, music, fashion, and much more. Due to a neuromuscular disease, she requires support in her daily life.

Duties include:

  • Support with daily routines, such as household chores and cooking

  • Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing

  • Transfers and support for tasks requiring motor skills

  • Exercise, leisure activities, and social activities

We are looking for someone with good social skills, who is attentive and has a high work ethic. You must have the ability to understand and adapt to different people and situations. We value personal maturity and a good sense of social interaction, as we believe these qualities are crucial for enjoying and succeeding in this role.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with children or childcare

  • Pet-free household due to allergies within the family

ASSETS

  • Experience in healthcare, care, or personal assistance

  • Driver's license and access to a car

Employment level: Hourly position as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use it in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID document and/or submit a personal certificate and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. A personal certificate can be easily downloaded from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both an extract from the criminal register and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing times may vary, so orders should be placed well in advance.
