About the Job

In the role as a resource in Children and Family, you will work with recruitment, development, case management, and guidance of foster homes. You will also support social workers, therapists, and child and youth supporters where you assist in various aspects of daily work.

In this role, you will work in social work as well as in administrative tasks, where you contribute with structure, coordination, and flexibility based on the needs of the organization. The role involves being a cohesive resource - a person who sees the whole and understands where interventions and support are needed.

The position also involves contributing to the development work related to the new Social Services Act with a focus on collaboration, preventive work, and early interventions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with education in social work and knowledge and experience in foster care. You have good knowledge of social law and the regulations of social services. You are also well acquainted with administrative tasks and documentation. A B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement for the position.

To succeed in this role, we see that you enjoy coordinating, supporting, and creating structure. You are flexible and easily adapt to the needs of the organization. You are good at seeing the whole and understanding where your skills and resources are needed. Your experience in social work contributes to this, and you are confident in your professional role. You are engaged in social interactions and have an understanding of people's different life situations where you are professional in your approach.
