ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is now looking for a student who wants to work part-time as lab assistants at PolyPeptide alongside their studies during the semesters and during breaks. The production in Sweden is located in Limhamn, and the IPC department is in need of someone who can provide administrative support. The idea is to assist where needed to ensure the operation runs optimally, and we are looking for someone who has an eye for what needs to be done and is not afraid to pitch in where necessary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

In the role of lab assistant, you will provide support with various tasks in the lab, including mixing chemical solutions, providing administrative support, and working on preparatory tasks for the department.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Is studying at a vocational school, university, or engineering level in chemistry, biotechnology, medicine, or similar and has at least 1.5 years left of studies
  • Speaks and writes Swedish fluently for internal communication and documentation
  • Can work part-time 2 days a week, during the day, evenings, and weekends, as well as during summer breaks
  • Wants to develop in lab work

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in a lab.

To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:

Other information

  • Start: March/April
  • Extent: Part-time during the semesters, 2 days a week. The work is primarily scheduled Monday to Friday during the day or evening, weekend work may also occur. During the summer, full-time work is expected.
  • Location: Limhamn, Malmö
