Make a Difference. Every Day.
The Joint Service Function (GSF) is a business area within Regionservice with the mission to deliver services in the areas of finance, HR, and customer center. Together, we are one of Sweden's largest administrative service centers with approximately 400 employees.
Our vision is to make a difference and be perceived as a leading actor that creates the best value. Our administrative processes should free up time and resources for Region Skåne's core operations, thereby benefiting the citizens of Skåne. With a clear customer focus, we work strategically to develop our service and our organization. We are at the forefront of digitizing work methods and building knowledge of new technologies that enable the automation of more administrative tasks. For us, it is crucial to attract and retain employees who want to develop in line with our vision and values.
In the Purchased Care unit, we are about 20 employees divided into four workgroups. Together, we work with, among other things, support in patient matters, where questions about compensation, regulations, exemption card investigations, and fees are included. We also handle cases from other authorities as well as invoices from regions, healthcare providers, and other partners.
In addition to our financial administrators, the unit consists of a team leader responsible for daily operations, as well as business developers who work strategically and comprehensively to develop our operations. Together, we create an organization characterized by quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Are you a service-oriented person who thrives in a varied role where financial administration, collaboration, and contact with different actors are a natural part of everyday life? Are you also self-driven, solution-oriented, and enjoy digging for information to find the right answers? Then this could be the position for you!
We are now looking for a financial administrator to join us in Purchased Care. With us, you will have a varied and meaningful job where your contribution helps create value and quality in welfare.
In this role, you will work with financial administrative tasks such as invoice management, compensation for healthcare costs, and questions related to contracts and regulations. You will also handle simpler investigative tasks where you collect, analyze, and compile information and formulate shorter statements.
The work involves ongoing contacts with other authorities and the use of several different system supports. You will also serve as a support to colleagues and, to some extent, to patients and healthcare providers in financial and administrative matters.
Our unit is characterized by continuous improvement work with a focus on goal management, digitization, and the development of efficient working methods. Therefore, we see that you, together with your colleagues, actively contribute to developing both your own tasks and our common mission.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education and has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You have good computer skills, are comfortable working digitally, and find it easy to familiarize yourself with new systems. You feel at ease with the Microsoft Office suite and have particularly good knowledge of Excel and Word.
We consider it highly meritorious if you have previous experience in administrative work within healthcare and thus have an understanding of medical concepts and terminology. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of various healthcare directions and the ability to navigate extensive journal materials. In this role, you will be an important part of ensuring an efficient and quality-assured flow between our processes and specialist functions.
Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as a medical secretary or equivalent, is meritorious. We also view experience from working in a politically governed organization positively, as this provides valuable understanding of the conditions of the operation. If you have also worked in any of our system supports, such as Raindance, Ritz, Pasis, Dok-IT, or Comprima, that is a clear advantage.
As a person, you are structured, proactive, and self-driven, with a good ability to make your own decisions and drive your work forward. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating closely with others and appreciate working in a team. You are solution-oriented, flexible, and can handle periods of high work tempo where you keep many balls in the air and adapt to the needs of the operation. Through your engagement and positive attitude, you contribute to a workplace characterized by collaboration, joy at work, and collegiality. You share and live by Region Skåne's values: welcoming, driving, caring, and respect. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Interviews are planned to be held in week 10.
We warmly welcome your application; we look forward to getting to know you!
