To meet the significant challenges facing healthcare, we are focusing on business development at Helsingborg Hospital. Our goal is to improve a little every day. To create good conditions for development work and transformation, each business area has its own business developer assigned to it. We are now looking for a strategic business developer who specializes in driving and facilitating development work for the business area (VO) Specialized Medicine 2 at Helsingborg Hospital.

VO Specialized Medicine 2 is one of two medical business areas at Helsingborg Hospital and includes the areas of lung/gastro/endo, neuro/stroke, infection, and rheumatology, as well as dietitians, social workers, and secretaries within the medical field. Currently, we have three inpatient wards and several outpatient clinics within the business area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a business developer with us, you will be an important enabler in both daily improvement work and our long-term development journey. You will work closely with the business manager and be part of the management team of the business area. 20 percent of your position will be in the development team led by our development manager. There, you will work on cross-departmental assignments in close collaboration with the development manager, other business developers, and other key personnel. The remaining 80 percent of your position will primarily involve working within the business area you are assigned to.

Examples of tasks included in the role:

  • Work with strategic and operational business development by initiating, planning, leading, and participating in improvement and development work, as well as following up, evaluating, and coordinating results for learning and continued improvement.
  • Support the work with the business area's goal-setting.
  • Be the creative and solution-oriented method and process support that takes ideas all the way to completion.
  • Support the business area in mapping and developing processes.
  • Promote collaboration between different units within and outside Helsingborg Hospital by being a link and contact person for other businesses in development issues and improvement projects.
  • Keep an eye on the outside world and bring in new ideas that drive us forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree for the position. You have experience in both project management and process development. Experience and knowledge in system understanding, change management, and learning-driven improvement work are considered advantageous. Previous experience working in a healthcare organization is a significant advantage.

As a person, you are analytical, communicative, and have good pedagogical skills. You are enthusiastic, solution-oriented, and approach your work with curiosity. To thrive in the role, you need to have good collaboration skills and actively work for good cooperation, both internally and externally. In your professional role, you are courageous, driven, and results-oriented. Personal suitability is of great importance.
