We are looking for an operational buyer (consultant) who can step in and handle the daily purchasing work at an industrial company. This is a practical assignment for you who enjoy making things happen – purchasing, following up, and ensuring the flow works.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing operational purchasing work and ensure that materials and components are in place on time for production and service.

Examples of tasks:

• Placing orders and following up on deliveries

• Maintaining daily contact with suppliers

• Ensuring that the business system (Pyramid) is updated and accurate

• Identifying and managing deviations in delivery and material flows

The most important aspect of the assignment is that the daily purchasing work functions smoothly. For those interested, there is also the opportunity to:

• Contribute improvements in work processes or supplier arrangements

• Support in simpler negotiations or development initiatives

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who thrives in an operational and practical purchasing role in the manufacturing industry.

We believe you:

• Have experience in operational purchasing or a similar role (e.g., purchasing assistant, material planner)

• Are familiar with working in business systems, preferably Pyramid

• Are self-driven, pragmatic, and enjoy solving everyday problems

• Have an easy time adapting to new environments and collaborating with others

The position is initially a consulting assignment of up to 50% through us at Skill. This means you are employed by us at Skill and have your assignment with our client. The assignment starts as soon as possible and runs until the summer, with some possibility of extension depending on needs and the development of the assignment.
