The Role

We are now looking for an experienced and technically strong Data Engineer for our client. You will work on assignments for the client focusing on modern, cloud-based data warehouse solutions and information supply in complex organizations.

As a consultant with us, you will be an important part of the client's system or data team and work closely with both developers, architects, and the business. The assignments are often characterized by a high technical ambition level, agile working methods, and a clear focus on quality, stability, and automation.

The Role

In the role of Data Engineer, you will work with:

• Development, further development, and management of cloud-based data warehouse solutions

• Ingestion of data from various source systems to the data platform

• Development and maintenance of integration and ETL/ELT flows

• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements of data flows

• Automation of parts of the SDLC through pipelines and frameworks

• Collaboration in agile teams

You are also expected to contribute to knowledge sharing and competency transfer within the team and be proactive in suggesting technical and process improvements.

Technical Skills We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with solid experience in several of the following areas:

• Cloud platforms (primarily Azure)

• Snowflake

• SQL

• Azure Data Lake

• Azure Data Factory (ADF)

• Python

• Data warehouse – development and/or management

• At least 5 years of experience working with data warehouses or similar data platforms

• Several assignments with SQL development

• Practical experience with Snowflake in production
